  • Sorensen had a long and successful pitching career that spanned from Stanford University to the USA Softball National Team, to the National Professional Fastpitch League.
  • During her distinguished Stanford career, Sorensen:
    • Was a 3-time NFCA All American, and 4-time All Pacific Region honoree
    • Lead Stanford to 2 Women’s College World Series appearances
    • Posted a 105-36 career record with a 1.05 ERA, including a 34 win campaign as a senior
    • Racked up 5 no-hitters and 2 perfect games
    • Was an inductee into the Stanford Athletics Hall of Fame
  • In 2005, Sorensen was a member of the USA Softball Elite Team, and she attended the USA Softball National Team Camp 5 times. She also played 2 seasons in the NPF, and with the Professional Fastpitch Xtreme (PFX) Tour.
  • Upon the completion of her playing career, Sorensen then moved into coaching, spending 3 seasons as an assistant coach and Physical Education Instructor at UC Davis, and 2 more years as an assistant at Oregon State.
  • Wanting to return to her native San Diego, Sorensen opened her own Pitching instruction business,

Jennifer Rocha

  • Starting with the 2018-2019 season, Rocha returned to her softball roots at the University of Oklahoma as Associate Head Coach.
  • In 2019, she helped lead the Sooners to the NCAA Women’s College World Series National Championship Series, where they lost to eventual National Champions, UCLA. Under her tutelage, Giselle Juarez was tabbed as NFCA 1st Team All-American and Big 12 Pitcher of the Year.
  • Before returning to OU, Rocha proved herself as one of the top pitching instructors in the country during her 14 year tenure with the Florida Gators:
    • Back-to-back NCAA Women’s College World Series National Champions (2014 and 2015)
    • 5 WCWS championship series appearances
    • 7 SEC regular season titles & 4 SEC Tournament titles
  • Under Rocha’s guidance, Florida led the nation in combined ERA in four of the last 10 seasons. The 2015 national championship team posted the top ERA in the SEC (1.63), which also ranked 4th in the nation. She has coached 7 NFCA All Americans.
